Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS) was previously considered a disorder on the autism spectrum assigned to individuals who did not fit into any of the other diagnostic categories because they had only some of the criteria for other disorders on the spectrum. Based on the DSM-5 diagnostic book from 2013, all of the disorders are included under the general name ASD - Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
