There are various programs for seniors that encourage physical activity in order to promote healthy living, prevent illness, slow the aging process and encourage positive self-image and better quality of life.

Service Providers

  • Eshel, in cooperation with local organizations for seniors, local councils, the Ministry for Social Equality (Senior Citizens), the National Insurance Institute and other organizations.
  • Eshel runs a popular sports program that allows seniors to be involved in individual and group activity in places that are easily accessible, close to home and free of charge. The activities are led by volunteer seniors that have undergone a special training.
  • Some of the activities take place at Elderly Care Day Centers
  • The popular sports program is funded by the Ministry of Social Equality.
