A person considered to have work disability is someone who became disabled following an injury that occurred to them while working and for whom a degree of disability (either permanent or temporary) has been established by a medical committee. Individuals recognized with work disability are entitled to a disability benefit or grant in addition to other benefits in order to assist them in their recovery.
